Nerds unite! I ♥ "The Big Bang Theory." It's a TV show that revolves around the lives of super intelligent roommates and physicists Sheldon and Leonard, their pretty blonde neighbor Penny, and their two equally brainy friends Wolowitz and Raj. They could be the next Nobel Prize winners, but they still have to learn how to talk to a girl right and deal with everyday life just as "regular" people would.
I ♥ how their geeky jokes are relatable. That's a challenge, don't you think? I'm still finishing up on Season 1 but I already love it.

There wasn't the slightest bit of lull time. Story was cute and always amusing. The action scenes were fantastic! Po is super adorable -- especially when he's caught munching on Monkey's almond cookies. Super love it.
My father-in-law gave me a poster of Po and Master Shifu with a bowl of dumplings. So cute! I'll have it framed and hang it in our dining room. Cutie! :D
"PostSecret is an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a homemade postcard." Secrets are published every Sunday. It is managed by a man named Frank Warren. The secrets sent go to him (rather, his P.O. box). He then sorts out the secrets and chooses which ones are to be published for the weekend. There have been at least 3 PostSecret books published so far.
Every week, I go to their site. Every week, I discover secrets that resonate with me. These two secrets from this week's batch connect with me the most.
It's amazing how secrets of others can unearth secrets of your own.
All I can say is woowwwwww. Astig. Robert Downey Jr. was faaaaaaantastic. Kickass film. Damn. The music was also great. One of the better superhero movies.
I ♥ the movie Once. And I also ♥ Pam & Jim from The Office. I know I just posted a fan vid of them, but I couldn't resist. This fanvid is set to the song "Falling Slowly." Beautiful editing, the song was perfect, and the ending -- let's all give out one big "awwwwwww."
Woah, long title. I just ♥ all three subjects in that title.
I've written in my other blog how much I like the song "Falling in love at a coffee shop" by Landon Pigg. Who wouldn't love it? It's gentle and sweet, nothing angsty at all.
And then today, I came upon a fanvid of Pam & Jim from The Office set to Landon Pigg's song! Oh my gosh, how perfect is that! The fanvid covers the awkwardness of Pam & Jim from the earlier seasons, hence the song being a perfect partner to it. And then it goes into the slow but steady falling of the two, complemented wonderfully by the song's final lines.
It would have been perfect if there was a coffee shop scene, but the only characters I remember being in a coffee shop were Dwight & Jan, and Pam & Angela.

I've seen some Twilight communities that just keep on bashing the cast. It's gotten pretty old, you know? Just let the cast be. Let them surprise you.
As one of the girls in the video said, this project is one way of spreading positivity about the Twilight movie. I'm jumping on that positivity wagon.

Mike Newton is a guy from the Twilight series who has a huge crush on Bella. Truth is, if Bella's not going for either of the supernatural guys in her life, perhaps Mike Newton would be the perfect fit for her.

You take your time to get out of bed. You know, just daydream in the sheets, let your mind wander till you practically have to force yourself to get up. And what welcomes you is even more goodness - a delicious breakfast you can savor. No quick chomps on bagels or energy bars. Just pure lazy indulgence.
They have to be fresh, a deep dark red and sweetly tart (or tartly sweet)? Fresh cherries trump all other cherries I encounter often -- maraschino, those tiny ones in fruit cocktail mixes.
Cherries like those in the pic are the best. They're just too darn expensive. :/
I had an interesting conversation with a friend a few days ago. Would we rather have a relationship with Edward Cullen or Jacob Black? There were pros and cons to each choice, but ultimately, my choice was Jacob.
It's a classic fire and ice conflict. A classic refined man vs. rugged guy. Both are raging with testosterone though, so it's your choice whether to go with the calculated man or the anything-goes one.
Jacob Black is REAL. Well, he is a werewolf, but at least he's still human. ;)
A lot of fans have been awaiting the announcement for the Jacob Black role in the Twilight movie. I'm one of those fans. While we wait for that shoutout from the production guys, I'm rooting for Steven Strait!

It's so cuuuuuuute, I gushed the first time I saw this at a toy store. The chubby cheeks were so adorable, the smile angelic, the blue jammies so comfy-looking, and Pooh was just too cute for words. I'd pass by that toy store for many months, and always, this Dream Glow Pooh would be there.
Finally, my husband asked me if I wanted it. I didn't really want a stuffed toy anymore (as many of my current ones are hidden in closets and shelves). But this Pooh was too adorable to ignore and so, yey, I got my Pooh.
It's so cute! I haven't gone ga-ga over a stuffed toy since I was in highschool I think. This toy stays with me at night and as I type this, it's sitting beside my computer. Hee hee. I love it. So cute.
The face glows, and if you press his tummy, different lullabyes play. I turned off both options, as all I want is my sleeping bear anyway.
I'm not a big Pooh fan, but this particular Pooh I absolutely adore!
I ♥ new hopes and goals! Frankly, I think I'm better at laying out the to-do's instead of executing them. what the heck, right? No worries, I perform. I just find that in group projects, my strength is in preparing the strategy.
Anyway, Give Me Five Monday's theme is all about hopes and goals for the new year. I will try to be as realistic as I can.
Hope #1: I ♥ the beach. And so this year, I hope to be able to vacation in one. It sucks having to live so far from one.
Hope #2: I ♥ being fit, but it's been ages since I was. I hate it! This year, as with every year, I resolve to be more mindful about my weight. My waistline is far from that lady's in the image, but it sure is motivating.
Hope #3: I ♥ new clothes. I hate shopping though. Honestly. My girlfriends think I'm missing out on a few XX chromosomes. I really hate it. But I have no choice -- I have to build a better wardrobe this year. Major happenings require majorly gorgeous clothing.
Hope #4: I ♥ get-togethers with families and friends. This year, I hope to be able to reunite with more of them. I'm not getting any younger and neither are my loved ones.
Hope #5: I ♥ babies and well... I think this is the year my husband and I are ready to build your family. :) Yey!

The first time I heard it, I went Twilight-gaga. I'm referring to Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series. I immediately went, "This is so Twilight." Listening to the lyrics further, I thought, "This is so Jacob's song for Bella." I did realize later on that it could also be Edward's song for Bella but the angst of the song fits the Jacob-Bella relationship more.
One line from the song makes it absolutely Jacob-Bella too.
"I'll be there for you through it all. Even if saving you sends me to heaven."
Obviously, it means he'd die for her. And you know Edward can't really die for Bella because he is already, technically, dead. And he doesn't believe in heaven, does he? *suddenly remembers a scene from New Moon* Well, he doesn't totally believe in heaven, does he?
