I ♥ cherries!
They have to be fresh, a deep dark red and sweetly tart (or tartly sweet)? Fresh cherries trump all other cherries I encounter often -- maraschino, those tiny ones in fruit cocktail mixes.
Cherries like those in the pic are the best. They're just too darn expensive. :/
I love them anyway!
