I love Invictus!

I the poem Invictus. The lines "I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul" never fail to center me when I'm feeling disoriented with life.

Here's the poem by William Ernest Henley.

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find me, unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.

I love The Big Bang Theory

Nerds unite! I "The Big Bang Theory." It's a TV show that revolves around the lives of super intelligent roommates and physicists Sheldon and Leonard, their pretty blonde neighbor Penny, and their two equally brainy friends Wolowitz and Raj. They could be the next Nobel Prize winners, but they still have to learn how to talk to a girl right and deal with everyday life just as "regular" people would.

I how their geeky jokes are relatable. That's a challenge, don't you think? I'm still finishing up on Season 1 but I already love it.

Here's a clip of one of my favorite scenes from the series:
